The Reds have acquired Trevor Bauer

The Cincinnati Reds have acquired Indians starting pitcher, Trevor Bauer, per reports.

Bauer has had a decent year for Cleveland, posting a 3.79 ERA in 156.2 innings pitched. Trevor also has a 2.0 WAR on the season with 185 strikeouts. A lot of people know of Bauer because of his season last year where he was one of the best pitchers in the league, finishing with a 2.21 ERA.

according to brooksbaseball.net, Bauer “has relied primarily on his Fourseam Fastball (95mph) and Curve (79mph), also mixing in a Cutter (85mph), Slider (80mph) and Change (86mph). He also rarely throws a Sinker (95mph).”

Bauer is set to become a free agent after this season. We will update this blog as we learn more.
