Cubs pitcher, Jon Lester, was pulled from today’s game vs. the Reds in the 2nd inning. After allowing 9 runs and 7 earned, Lester was taken out of the game with 2 outs in the 2nd.
He signaled over Cubs trainer, Ed Halbur, and after a quick conversion Lester walked back to the dugout. Early reports from the Cubs say it’s a strained left lat muscle.
Once being down 9-0, the Cubs have now rallied back to tie the game 9-9.
