Is Chris Coghlan a legit possibility for the Cubs?

Believe it or not Chris Coghlan could be a real possibility for the Chicago Cubs.

The other day former Cub, Chris Coghlan was DFA’d by the Blue Jays and many of people started suspecting that Chicago could be his next landing spot. Coghlan is very familiar with the Cubs as he played in Chicago for many of years, and he could be a nice bat off of the Cubs bench.

If the Cubs were to go pick up Coghlan they would more than likely send down utility player, Tommy La Stella until the rosters expand in a few weeks. Coghlan has not posted a good batting average in 75 at bats this year, but if Chicago did pick him up he would rotate with struggling outfielder Kyle Schwarber.

If I am a Cubs fan I would not be surprised if they went and got the familiar face as they make a playoff push.
