“That’s enough of that B.S. Let’s see which one of your boys is going to get drilled, or maybe you.”- Hawk Harrelson.
These words came from the mouth of Hawk just weeks ago as Cubs pitcher, John Lackey hit three White Sox batters. While in Chicago Hawk has had a huge amount of Cub fans that have disliked him, well you will not have to see him at Wrigley anymore.
Hawk went on a huge rant yesterday stating this, “I’ll tell you this much, I’ll never go back to Wrigley Field again. We’ve got three games over at their place, and I told Jerry (Reinsdorf) the other day before we came on this trip, I said, ‘I’m not going back to Wrigley Field.’”
“He said, ‘Well, you’ve got three games there next year.’ I said, ‘Well, I’m talking with (Bob) Grim. We’re going to get rid of those.’ “Worst press box, worst booths for television. It’s a joke. It really is. And so, Jason (Benetti) is getting ready for those three at Wrigley. I will never step foot in that ballpark again. Ever.” (These quotes were taken from Yahoo Sports).
This actually excites a lot of Chicago Cub fans, including David Kaplan (@TheKapman on twitter) who stated one of Hawk’s favorite lines “Grab some bench. See ya!” Cub fans we can “put it on the board” Hawk Harrelson will not be back at Wrigley field.
