Former Bears QB, Jay Cutler, signs with Dolphins.

Early reports from @JoeyProspects, indicate that Jay Cutler to the Miami Dolphins is a done deal. The details of the contract are now confirmed, and we can expect a contract of $10 million for a 1 year deal.

There is a small hope that Dolphins QB, Ryan Tannehill, won’t need season ending surgery, but that looks like where things are heading. Which is why this deal is being made. It also makes perfect sense for the Dolphins to reunite head coach, Adam Gase, with Jay Cutler. In 2015, Jay Cutler played 15 games under Adam Gase as the offensive coordinator. Here are his stats for the 2015 season:

64.4 percent of passes completed and averaged 7.6 yards per attempt.

Threw for 3,659 yards, with 28 touchdowns, and only 11 interceptions.

Many reports say Cutler would set aside his TV job at FOX for the starting job. It sure looks like that will be the case and will be.
