It’s only fitting that Wade Davis gave up the game winning homer in the All Star Game.

This pretty much sums up the Cubs first half. Everyone had to make a mistake, including Wade Davis. Last night at the All-Star Game in Miami, the game was tied 1-1 until the 10th inning when the only Cubs all star, Wade Davis, was brought in. Davis gave up a solo shot to Robinson Canó in the top of the 10th. The NL fails to score in the bottom of the 10th, and the AL wins 2-1. Good thing the game didn’t really mean anything other than fully summarizing the Cubs first half. Literally the last guy on the team do make a mistake. It’s only apart of the prophecy. It could reverse the curse of the 1st half. Seriously though, I saw a bunch of Cardinals fans get mad because Yadi couldn’t win MVP. Maybe that was apart of Wade’s plan?
